Support Missions
As a Missionary, I need to fund raise 100% of my finances. The work of God is meant to be done in community. The work of God is meant to be done with each unique part of the Body of Christ doing their part to expand the Kingdom of God. I can’t do this alone! Please consider partnering with me.
The photograph above was taken while I was attending the Steiger Mission’s School in Krogis, Germany. All of the students gathered together in an old church to sing and worship Jesus. I think the picture speaks to the idea that we can’t do missions alone. If I had stood in that church alone and sang, perhaps it would have been nice, but when 200 people gather into that church and sing, it is full of power.
The same is true when it comes to missions. In theory, I could work as a missionary by myself, I’m sure that I could make an impact for the Kingdom of God even if I never asked for support. But I am also sure that the impact for the Kingdom will be much greater when many people are joining in and supporting the movement.
As Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 12, “There are many parts, but there is only one body”. We are all a part of the body of Christ and are called to use whatever gift we’ve been given to expand the Kingdom of God. Let’s do this together!
